Les Pieds sur Terre is proud to join Educaid, an educational assistance fund designed to provide young people from underprivileged backgrounds with the financial support they need to complete their secondary studies and, in some cases, go on to post-secondary education. The company has taken the commitment to donate $2 to Educaid for every Les Pieds sur Terre ecological bag sold in-store and online.

Just like Educaid, Les Pieds sur Terre wants to help ensure that motivated young people are not penalized by their limited financial means, and that they will be able to pursue their own dreams of success, of living in a better world.

In the province of Quebec, one out of three youths drops out before the end of their secondary studies. The problem is serious and alarming, particularly in young people from underprivileged backgrounds. In fact, many of them are talented, motivated and interested in continuing their education, but they are unfortunately defeated by their lack of resources.

Since 2006, Educaid  has donated close to $325,000 in scholarships to some 410 students from more than one hundred schools located in 40 school boards throughout Quebec. These scholarships were made possible thanks to the generosity of the donors and the financial partners of Educaid.
